Celebration!

Our day began with Paul walking for graduation from University of Pheonix! Holy cow! I thought this day would never get here. It felt like school was going to last the rest of our lives, and it just might if he decides to go back for his masters degree. I don't know what he needs it for, he already thinks he is master of this house! Ha, Ha! The program lasted two hours, and just when we thought they were done reading names, they pulled more out of the sky! It was lovely, and needless to say a once in a lifetime event. If he wants to walk again, he still has the cap, and he can do it in the front yard or parade around the circle, cause we are not doing that again! Love you babe! You look great and I am so proud of you!

Paul's mom and dad have been so supportive and encouraging these past years in his education. It takes a great support system behind you like our parents to help make these challenges easier! My parents have also been amazing in many things they have done for us, if I mention it, they will just deny it, so thanks to our parents for your unfailing support and love!

So in between graduation we were supposed to have Will's soccer game which Paul coaches, but Heaven was smiling on us that day and gave us a rainout and thank goodness pictures were rescheduled. That same day, all day was Scout-o-Rama! Our pack had a booth, and I am a leader, but my best friend who is also the cub master gave me leave to spend the day with my family. Come to find out, they needed all the help they could get, and I am destined to have guilt the rest of my life for not being there. Yes my family is more important, but I had at least an hour to spare! After graduation and before the baptism we had to go set up tables and chairs. We made it, but I now regret not finding someone else to play the music, because I missed out on a whole bunch of picture moments! So sorry the blog is missing them. I tried to do it all so noone would have to give up their Saturday.

William was baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I couldn't stop the tears from flowing. I know every mother will roll her eyes and say it's a part of life, but it is one part I don't think I will ever get used to. He grew up right in front of my eyes that day, and it felt like one step closer to feeling like he isn't my baby any more. I realized that I am just his earthly mother and his Heavenly Father wouldn't have it any other way. It was a bitter sweet moment for me to know that he is becoming into a young man. I am trying to savor every moment, because I know soon that present will be past, and it will only be a memory. Good job William! I am so proud of you! I love you so much.

As you can see our day ended so well, I am so proud of my boys. Paul has worked tirelessly in school, work and home. Trying to balance the three is not easy, and William is only beginning to live life with understanding. I know they both have many challenges ahead of them, but I know they will face them fearlessly and with courage. They are so strong, Congratulations Paul and Will, I love you both soooooooooo much and always will!
