Just last month our family went on a hike to Donut Falls. It was a blast. The boys got filthy dirty, but they had a blast. We didn't get to hike all the way to the top, it was too steep. Even Annie liked the water and she rode in the hiking pack all the way up, then hiked with us all the way down. The kids were troopers. We stopped on the side of the trail to have a picnic, and to take pictures.

A weekend of FUN!
This is our trip to cornbelly's cornmaze!
Annie and mommie loved playing in princess land! We sat in our royal carriage and played in the castle, and Annie wants Grandpa to build her a castle just like this one in her backyard!

The boys had so much fun racing these what-cha-ma-call-its, they wanted to do it all day! Emery
even got in on the action and raced kids he didn't

Pumkins Everywhere
We planted pumkins in our backyard this year and had them coming out of our ears! 37 in total! We gave some away and still have too many. Just our luck we keep getting more from other places that give them to us! We decided that it was so much fun to grow that we are going to plant even more next year. Two of the pumpkins we grew were so big that we had to give them names. Clyde and Berta, they just out weighed and out sized all the rest! We just loved sharing them. such a great gift for neighbors, and family. Happy Harvest!

Happy Anniversary! Happy Anniversary!
This last Saturday June 20th Paul and I celebrated our 8th anniversary! It was a total blast. After having my 3rd kid we are starting to get back into hiking, and we decided to try Bells canyon! Straight up rocks and it rained the whole time. But I am not complaining, quite the opposite. The rain kept us cool and our surroundings were so beautiful that there was not one thing to complain about! We hiked up to the waterfall that was absolutely massive, and the river ran so fast and high that it created smaller waterfalls down the trail. When we were in the mountain we were engulfed in the clouds then as we got to the bottom of the trail we looked back and got to see what we were in. It was a little scary but completely amazing!
We also saw beautiful flowers, and I saw a Segolily for the second time in my life! We got drenched and loved every minute of it. Later that day we went to dinner and then to Hale Center Theater where we have season tickets and saw Hello Dolly! And if that isn't a romantic date I don't know what is! I am so grateful to Paulie for an amazing 8 years! I love you Wog and I am looking forward to eternity with you! Beat that cheesy!

Family pictures 2009
This last weekend my family and I went to the mountains to take photos. we only had one big problem, the attachment that holds the camera to the tripod, was at home laying on the garage floor. We didn't notice that it had fallen until we got there. Trying to use flat rocks and logs to get the shots we wanted really didn't help. Then to top it all off Annie didn't want to take pictures that day. The princess decided to not look at the camera once and was demanding we carry her every where. So Grandparents will have to wait a litle longer for their pictures because we have to do them again.

Easter Weekend!!
Our Easter weekend started out with going to Banana and Papas house. We played games and ran all over the house to find eggs. The boys had a sleep over and Paulie and I got to go see Fast and the Furious, which was good, we really enjoyed the others. We both like to drive fast so not a good movie to see then get in the car to drive home. I hate to drive, like futher than 10 blocks of my house, but give me an empty road and no other cars around me and I will floor it! Back to the weekend, after our movie we got some ice cream and then picked up Annie. It was very quiet. On Saturday we played games like I said and found eggs. Pin the tail on the rabbit, and egg relay race. Our team won of course! kidding we did win but by only a fraction. Oma and Opa were there and played with the kids as well. The food was great and the fun kept coming.
Our children recieved a huge basket full of toys games and candy. It gets worse every year. You set Sandi and Steve loose on the Easter aisle and your bound to pay for it. Spoiling the grandchildren just happens to be their specialty. I can't complain I only have to live every day with the noise they send home!!! All kidding aside we are very blessed and they made it a wonderful Easter. Even if I have to listen to spacemen and singing Annie til the "batries" give out. Or I lose my hearing, which ever comes first. Thank you for the wonderful day! It was amazing! The kids had a blast and so did we!
The Easter bunny did come!
On Easter morning my boys woke up to thinking the bunny had come and left them things like eggs and all that implys, to find. When I told them they would have to wait because they slept in and church was waiting, they were very upset with me. I have recently aquired a new calling that requires me to be to church 15 to 20 minutes early. So when they got ready William thought he would be sneaky and make his way discretely to the front room to find his goods, he about went into panic mode. "Mom! The Easter bunny didn't come! He forgot us!" I told him that it did not do any good to look that I didn't know where the rabbit would have hid everything, and we didn't have time to look. He thought he would just check his room, but he informed me that he didn't find anything there either! He was worried about it all through church. Thinking I did the right thing by not letting them do Easter stuff before church, to help us concentrate on the true meaning of the holiday, and focus our thoughts on the Saviour, instead of being hyped up on sugar. Boy, did I pay for that one. But low and behold we got home and as we pulled up the drive our children discovered bright oval shaped colors that dotted the yard. The sneaky little furball hid everything outside this year instead of inside. Can you blame him? It was a beautiful day! William got a DS game, Emery got a Wii game and Annie got tub toys and a soft blanket. Not to mention that candy and the sugar rush that soon followed. I will never eat that much candy again! He, He! We had a great Easter! Annie of course looked adorable in her beautiful blue dress! That girl is without a doubt a princess!
