Christmas?????

Ok, yes, I know how this looks... well it is how this looks. I didn't take any pictures of Christmas. It was a very busy holiday this year, and the kids opened the gifts so fast I didn't have any time to photograph anything. So to everyone forgive me, and I promise to start doing better. There are a few pics on my phone but not much. so just to give a small overview of the holiday I will just stick to main details!
Christmas Eve was very busy, between working and trying to get presents done, and cooking, it just got away from me. We had a very wonderful evening that started with going to our dear friends Catholic Christmas mass. They were a big part of the service that evening, and we wanted to go. It was lovely, and we enjoyed being with that part of our family for Christmas Eve.
Next we went to my sister Jennies house for a wonderful prime rib dinner, and cookie decorating, with a movie showing of Polar Express. Of course the night was cut short when Annie decided to grace us all with a lovely smell from her rear end, and both parents had forgot diapers! Well, thats just how we roll people! My sister knows how to throw a party, and the food was great.
Trying to get the kids to bed this year, well was near impossible. They had received video messages from Santa, and that was worse than giving them Mountain dew and pixie sticks! They were so excited, and so they had one big sleepover in Annies room.
Christmas morning the kids woke up and Santa may have cut back this year, but it sure didn't look it. They got so many toys that we had to get rid of over half of what they already had just to make room for the new. William got a DS lite, Emery got a Batcave playset, and Annie got all disney princess gifts. I think Santa likes Disney princess for the princess Annie....ooops!
We continued our day by celebrating Emery's birthday that morning with a small breakfast at nana, and grandpas house. The kid is going to hate is birthday, but if you know Em, there is no other day for celebrating his life. Nana and Grandpa gave the kids lots of fun toys and love. Aunt Jennie and Uncle Dallas decided to give Annie yet another inanimate object to cling to, that she hasn't let go since.
Banana and papas house was the last stop on the Crosby Christmas Express, and the day just kept coming with gifts and goods for all. We had a big feast as always, and I think I made the ugliest cake in history for Emery. We at least got to sing to him on his birthday. Uncle Jordan made hats for the boys of some of their favorite colors, which they now refuse to take off. I had some fun myself this year, by taking old washed holy jeans and making them into purses for all the girls. I had a blast, if there was any money in it I would do it professionally.
By the time the day ended we were too exhausted to even play with the gifts we got. We had a great holiday and the spirit was definitely with us! Hope you all had a very merry holiday, and have a great 2010! love the CROSBY'S!!!!

A New Moon Birthday! Happy Birthday to Me!!

These are my girls! Alexis and Cori! I love spending time with them, they are so adorable and I would keep them all the time if I could! They knew exactly what I wanted for my Birthday They gave me a calendar of New Moon.

They are the best friends a Aunt could ask for!
My sister refused to take a picture with me. I promised her that if she took it I wouldn't put it on my blog, but she asked for it, so me and sister it are wrestling which in all our years as sisters I don't think we have ever done! My adorable sweet husband gave me a whole box I New Moon trading cards plus some that were signed, and I think I got them all! My inlaws gave me a new moon sweater of the tatoo that the wolves wear, and my amazing Mom and Dad gave me a zip sweat shirt, and even though people were hearing ringing in their ears for days from my screaming I am still above the clouds and flying high! My mom made my favorite dinner, ham and funeral potatoes! It was yummy! I took a picture with my mom but she would kill me if I posted it, even though she is beautiful, and her spirit shines out of her! I would like to have shared it, but I want to live to see 29! Love you mom! :) Thanks everyone for making it such a great Birthday, and for all the AWESOME gifts!

Can I just say that if I have a Birthday like I did this year, I will gladly turn 28 every year! I was completey spoiled and I loved it!

First snow of the year!

This was the first snow of the year, and the kids were dying to get outside to make a snowman. so instead of a regular snowman, it turned out to be a REAL snow DOG! It was fun watching them bury each other and laugh. So glad it will hopefully be a white Christmas!

Let's go dancing!

This is Annies new skirt. She found it at Costco took it off the rack walked it over to Paul and held it up to him and said "pease", "pease"? Of course he couldn't deny his princess, so she now has a fluffy skirt. We brought her home and she carried it everywhere. So on Sunday we got up and the first thing she wanted was to put on her skirt, and she twirled and danced around all day! She is so funny!

Trick or Treating!

This year we went Trick or Treating in my moms neighborhood. Cori and Lexi joined us and we had a total blast. We got huge candybars and way more candy than can be consumed in a month. so it may just last us till next year!
Will was the Oogie Boogie man, and Emery was Jack Skellington from the Nightmare before Christmas. My kids love that show for no reason I am capable of mustering up. So we will just leave it at that. Wills costume was fun to make. I had so much fun with the details from the bugs on the costume to the balloons to stuff him with. Emery we got to paint his hair and face, and by the time we finished he could have played Jack in the movie himself. He wasn't too fond of the paint, but he looked amazing! This year was a great Halloween year, Boo! Hee, Heee, He He!

Halloween party of 2009.

This was the ultimate year for costumes! We went as "The Nightmare Before Christmas"! Emery was born on December 25th. So instead of getting his birthday as close to Christmas as possible, we went with what he loves most. And that is Halloween! One of his favorite movies is "The Nightmare Before Christmas" so we went with the theme. Emery was the Pumpkin King himself , Jack, and William was the 'Oogie Boogie' man. To make sure the theme continued I myself was Sally, and let me tell you that the hair was just gross. I was finding red in my food and my nose, I know gross! Paul was the evil doctor scientist, and Annie was the ghost puppy 'Zero' I had a complete blast making, yes you heard me making all these costumes. It took its own sweet time, but its what I love. Sewing is my passion. especially creating something out of my head. I couldn't have done it without the help of my family. My dad even chipped his lab coat and gloves in! Even Pauls grandma got in on the action and came dressed in her nightgown and curlers, ready for bed! That is how I would go if I could, Comfy! Hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween! Oh and have to mention that we got the "Best Costume" award! Awesome!

"Humperdink! Humperdink! Humperdink!" "Have fun storming the castle!" Pauls mom and dad decided to dress up as the old couple off of Princess Bride, and Jordan, Becca and Cadence were the snoopy crew. Nikki and Eric were cards representing a Peanuckle hand (sorry about spelling) Their kids dressed up as a ninja, a devil girl, and an angel. Cute costumes Everybody!

And the fun kept coming, we played games, and ate yummy creepy food. The kids recieved all sorts of prizes. of course the costumes got warm, and they had to be taken off, but it was a great party, and so much fun!

Just last month our family went on a hike to Donut Falls. It was a blast. The boys got filthy dirty, but they had a blast. We didn't get to hike all the way to the top, it was too steep. Even Annie liked the water and she rode in the hiking pack all the way up, then hiked with us all the way down. The kids were troopers. We stopped on the side of the trail to have a picnic, and to take pictures.

A weekend of FUN!

This is our trip to cornbelly's cornmaze!
William and Emery got their faces painted, Emery got jack skellington, and Will....I really don't know what that is.

Annie and mommie loved playing in princess land! We sat in our royal carriage and played in the castle, and Annie wants Grandpa to build her a castle just like this one in her backyard!

The corn maze was awesome! We have to admit, we did get lost. We answered Boy Scout questions that helped us through the maze, but finding the numbers was harder than we thought. I was seeing gold for the rest of the day!

The boys had so much fun racing these what-cha-ma-call-its, they wanted to do it all day! Emery
even got in on the action and raced kids he didn't
even know!

Annie was riding in style in the wagon, and William was brave enough to try the big scary blowup monster!

They caught themselves a few rule breakers as well. can you tell that Will is a professional photographer?

The boys and Annie absolutely loved the slides that were placed on top of haystacks. They were really fast too!

Annie had fun just playing at the playground Paulie was showing off by lassoing a bull head!

Pumkins Everywhere

We planted pumkins in our backyard this year and had them coming out of our ears! 37 in total! We gave some away and still have too many. Just our luck we keep getting more from other places that give them to us! We decided that it was so much fun to grow that we are going to plant even more next year. Two of the pumpkins we grew were so big that we had to give them names. Clyde and Berta, they just out weighed and out sized all the rest! We just loved sharing them. such a great gift for neighbors, and family. Happy Harvest!
